Welcome to Tony Munoz's official website!
For over 37 years, Tony Munoz, has been participating in Mexican charreadas. He has been a member
of the Charros de Escondido, Asociacion de Charros La Division del Sur, Asociacion de Charros Perla Del Pacifico de Tijuana,
B. C., and many more. He has won many awards in the California State Annual Charro Tournaments.
He has collaborated as a trick roper with performers such as Linda Ronstadt, Big and Rich, Mariachi
Los Camperos de Nati Cano, along with many folklorico dance companies. Tony also perfomed in the The Will Rogers Follies
Musical.
On Sunday April 19, 2009 during a charreada in Escondido, California, Tony was in an accident and suffered head injuries.
He was thrown from his horse and kicked in the head.
He was in surgery for over 11 hours at Palomar Hospital.
At this critical time, his family is asking for prayers for a complete recovery for Tony.

To all of Tony's Friends.
Tony is now at home with his wife Marisol and daugthers, Andria (17) and Briana (16) Munoz. He is recuperating
with the help of God and his wife.
Here are some words from Marisol:
"My day starts early at 5:30 a.m.. I give Tony his medications (he takes 10 different ones a day),
help him with his shower, dress him, shave him, give him his breakfast and then we leave to the daily rehab at 8:00
a.m.. I'm with Tony all day helping with his therapy. I enjoy it a lot. It's amazing how good he is doing.
He is very strong. The girls are so proud of him! Between therapy and doctor appointments, I keep myself pretty busy.
I'm taking time off from work, I'm with Tony 24/7"
We are very thankful to all of our friends for their prayers and support. Everybody's support on the fundraisers
are very appreciated! We have received $1000.00 from this fundraisers. This will help for gas to take Tony to San
Diego everyday. He will be in rehab for 8 weeks.
I know we are going to be okay!
Tony, myself, and the girls have been through a lot during the 18 years of our marriage and we always pull through. This
is a traumatic experince that is going to keep and make us stronger.
Our family, friends, and church community support us 100%! We are pretty thankful to all of them.
Tony's doctors are amazed at how good he is doing!
